Mission Statement
In the spirit of Service, Not Self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.
Vision Statement
The vision of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion while becoming the premier service organization and foundation of every community providing support for our veterans, our military, and their families by shaping a positive future in an atmosphere of fellowship, patriotism, peace and security.

Who can join?
You must be a grandmother, mother, sister, spouse, or direct/ adopted female descendant of:

A member of the American Legion.

A man or woman who served between 4/6/1917 to 11/11/1918, or anytime after December 7, 1941.

Of all men and women who died after honorable discharge or in the line of duty any time after December 7, 1941 or the periods mentioned above.
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 240
The American Legion Auxiliary of Salina Oklahoma is a dedicated organization committed to supporting veterans, active military members, and their families. As a key part of the American Legion Family, the Auxiliary plays an essential role in advocating for veteran rights, promoting patriotic service, and fostering a sense of community.
Through various programs and initiatives, members work together to make a positive impact, from sponsoring youth development programs to coordinating charitable events and volunteer efforts. Their mission is rooted in honoring those who served and uplifting the communities they call home.
